Is Your Loved One Ready to Stay Home Alone Safely and Confidently? Are You Confident Your Loved One Has the Skills to Handle Unexpected Situations While Home Alone?
Join us for an informative discussion about home alone safety. This session will focus on supporting our loved ones in transitioning to spending time alone at home confidently and safely. The session will offer practical tips and strategies as well as provide an opportunity to share experiences. Led by content expert Emily Downey, a certified Home Alone instructor with a background in nursing and education, and facilitated by educator Stephanie King, this event will cover essential topics, including: Community resources, kitchen safety, fire prevention, basic first aid, 911 phone calls, asking for help, personal safety, storms and power outages.
